I'm going to fiddle with the angle and the speed of the motion tweening until I'm happy with it.
I have also realised that the periscope and the blue meanie are lacking a bit in expression and movement that would make them appear more alive as characters. If the periscope was a bit more bouncy in popping up out the hole then it would appear a bit more lively. The blue meanie could possibly have a facial expression that changes to make it appear less static.
Having received the advice from my tutors to work on the animation I also want to stick to the style of animation which is very static and not particularly amazingly animated, but with artwork that gives the overall psycodelic effect.
I will look at these ways of improving my animation, but I will make sure that I don't change the style that I have portrayed effectively into something else completely.
